1/19/2018 Karl-Anthony Towns, Min, C
Karl-Anthony Towns scored 22 points Thursday on 10-of-19 shooting as the Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the Houston Rockets 116-98. Towns grabbed 16 rebounds and had three assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +2 in his 36:57 on the floor. He added five blocks and two steals. Towns went 1 of 7 from behind the arc.

Analysis: Towns struggled from the outside after going 11 of 16 on 3-point tries over his previous six games, but still managed an 11th straight double-double and was a blocks machine in this one. As automatic a fantasy option there is from the center position, the likely All-Star is averaging 20.4 points, 14.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 blocks during an eight-game roll.
1/19/2018 Jimmy Butler, Min, G-F
Jimmy Butler scored 23 points Thursday, going 8 of 15 from the field, as the Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the Houston Rockets 116-98. Butler pulled down four rebounds and dished out two assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -10 in his 42:16 of playing time. He added one block and two steals.

Analysis: It's the 15th time in Butler's last 17 games in which he's reached the 20-point mark, a stretch in which he's averaged 25.3 points on 51.1 percent shooting. The star guard is also averaging 2.35 steals during that period, second only to LeBron James for tops in the league over that span.
1/19/2018 Jeff Teague, Min, PG
Jeff Teague scored six points Thursday on 3-of-8 shooting as the Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Houston Rockets 116-98. Teague pulled down five rebounds and had three assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -22 in his 32:28 of playing time.

Analysis: Teague hasn't shot the ball particularly well of late, connecting on just 39.2 percent of his field goal attempts over his last four games. He's still been a solid, though not upper-level, fantasy point guard since returning from a knee injury last week. He's averaging 12.2 points, 5.6 assists and two steals in five games upon coming back.

1/19/2018 Evan Turner, Por, G-F
Evan Turner scored two points Thursday, going 1 of 6 from the field, as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers 100-86. Turner grabbed two rebounds and added an assist, tallying a plus-minus of +7 in his 25:21 of playing time.
1/19/2018 Domantas Sabonis, Ind, F-C
Domantas Sabonis scored nine points Thursday on 4-of-9 shooting as the Indiana Pacers fell to the Portland Trail Blazers 100-86. Sabonis grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out three assists, tallying a plus-minus of 0 in his 33:29 of playing time. He added one block and one steal.

Analysis: Sabonis has been a bit of a mixed bag of late, as he's recorded double-digit rebounds in three of his past four games but is averaging just 9.3 points over his last three. The son of the former Blazers' great did average 20.3 points on 67.3 percent shooting over the first four games of January, and he's still in a good spot with Myles Turner not yet quite ready to return from an elbow injury.
1/19/2018 Thaddeus Young, Ind, F
Thaddeus Young scored 10 points Thursday on 5-of-12 shooting as the Indiana Pacers fell to the Portland Trail Blazers 100-86. Young pulled down 14 rebounds and had three assists, tallying a plus-minus of -2 in his 37:04 of playing time. He added two steals.

Analysis: The rebounds were a season high and marked only the third time this season that Young has recorded double-digits in that category. The veteran is maintaining his status as a dependable but somewhat limited fantasy option by averaging 12.7 points and 7.7 boards over his last six outings.
1/19/2018 Victor Oladipo, Ind, G
Victor Oladipo scored 23 points Thursday on 9-of-25 shooting as the Indiana Pacers lost to the Portland Trail Blazers 100-86. Oladipo grabbed seven rebounds and had three assists, tallying a plus-minus of +4 in his 35:45 of playing time. He added two blocks. Oladipo went 1 of 9 from 3-point range.

Analysis: Oladipo still managed to put up plenty of points, though he was quite off in this one after shooting 51.6 percent from the floor over his first six games back from a knee injury. The zero steals were a surprise as well considering he had racked up 18 over those aforementioned six contests.
1/19/2018 Darren Collison, Ind, G
Darren Collison scored 23 points Thursday on 9-of-14 shooting as the Indiana Pacers fell to the Portland Trail Blazers 100-86. Collison did not grab a rebound but had three assists, tallying a plus-minus of -4 in his 35:43 on the floor. He added one steal. Collison went 5 of 6 from 3-point range.

Analysis: Collison isn't normally a prolific scorer, but he's now put up 19 points or more in three of his past four games while shooting an excellent 65.9 percent from the field during that stretch. Those numbers likely will not be sustained, but he's certainly worth using while he's hot.
1/19/2018 Al-Farouq Aminu, Por, F
Al-Farouq Aminu scored 12 points Thursday, going 4 of 11 from the field, as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers 100-86. Aminu pulled down nine rebounds and had two assists, tallying a plus-minus of +7 in his 32:16 on the floor. He added one block and one steal. Aminu went 2 of 7 from behind the arc.

Analysis: Though hardly a fantasy standout, Aminu is on a pretty solid four-game run in which he's averaged 12.8 points, nine rebounds and 0.8 blocks. The stretch forward has cooled off from behind the 3-point line, though, having shot 32 percent (16 of 50) over his past nine outings.
1/19/2018 Damian Lillard, Por, PG
Damian Lillard scored 26 points Thursday, going 8 of 21 from the field, as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers 100-86. Lillard grabbed five rebounds and dished out eight assists, tallying a plus-minus of +10 in his 39:54 on the floor. He added one block. Lillard went 2 of 8 from 3-point range.

Analysis: It doesn't look like owners need to worry about Lillard's recent injuries cropping up again. The dynamic point guard is averaging a stellar 26 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists in five games since returning to the lineup. Three-point shooting has been his lone negative, as he's shot just 28.2 percent (11 of 39) from beyond the arc during that time frame.
1/19/2018 Jusuf Nurkic, Por, C
Jusuf Nurkic scored 19 points Thursday, going 8 of 14 from the field, as the Portland Trail Blazers topped the Indiana Pacers 100-86. Nurkic pulled down 17 rebounds and did not have an assist, tallying a plus-minus of +4 in his 31:31 on the floor. He added two blocks and two steals.

Analysis: After being held under 10 points in three of his previous four games and going five straight with single-digit boards, Nurkic showed up on this night to register a season high in rebounds and become a factor in all phases. It's still anyone's guess if he'll rise to the occasion in a seemingly favorable matchup Saturday at home against Dallas.
